Working with Cordon Bleu Chefs in their family restaurants, our founder, Brian Forshaw, realised that he couldn’t always produce the great quality and variety of herbs he needed, therefore soon recognised the need for a good supply of fresh herbs to the catering industry, and this is how Bloomin Fresh Produce began. He still runs the company today as MD along with his father and son Jack, a micro biologist and his experience of being both consumer and supplier has created a company which is flexible to meet customer needs, but will never compromise on quality, service or value for money.
To develop the business further in 2002, as T & E Forshaw Ltd. A new site was developed, which included 90 acres of field crops. This year, in 2018 the company celebrates 25 years supplying the UK wholesale, food manufacturing and catering trade.
We specialise in high quality fresh cut herbs, baby salads and edible flowers. The polytunnels give us an extended season to grow our unique range of baby leaves and speciality herbs, and this is done to the highest specification using innovative growing methods and biological controls. Our dedicated staff are committed to producing crops in a natural and environmentally sensitive way they can.
We continue to be passionate about sticking to our beliefs and pride ourselves in providing great customer service with flexibility where needed, value for money and being consistently the grower, supplier and processor of choice for quality fresh herbs, specialist salads and niche products.
